It’s always pretty difficult to write about me pages. I don’t want to say too much about myself, but I want people to have an idea of who I am. Here goes…

After spending a semester at the University of Maryland as a journalism major, I decided that the school and major were not the right fit for me. Making the decision to come back home was difficult, but the support of my parents helped me to know I was doing the right thing. Within a week, I packed up and came back home. I do miss the school and all the wonderful people I met there, but truthfully, I can’t imagine myself being anywhere but home.

Where is home?

The city of Seattle! Well, technically in the suburbs of Seattle, but close enough. My family moved to Seattle 13 years ago from Maryland. Even though I spent the first five years of my life in Maryland, I consider myself a west-coast girl. Everything here is so much more me, and I am 100% happy with my city.

I have a big family–which has it’s ups and downs 🙂

Anyways, I wanted to start a blog (again) just to share things I like and enjoy doing. I’ve recently gotten into photography, so maybe this blog will help me to improve my skills and learn more about it. Food, health, and exercise are some of my greatest interests and passions. I love reading, talking, researching, and of course eating food ALL the time. Oh, and taking many, many pictures of the food we eat here at home 🙂 My family loves to have parties and people over for meals, so that will be something you’ll see a lot of on this blog.

That’s all I can think of for now, but I hope you enjoy reading as I make my way through school and life.
